Do you need to make an appointment for consultation at Torii?

Yes, you can contact the phone number or email id provided, to make an appointment.

What are the clinic hours?

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturdays by appointment only

Do you have behavioral health services?

Yes, Torii offers a wide range of behavioral health services such as Spravato treatment, ADHD assessments, TMS therapy, Ketamine infusions etc.

What are the Wellness services that you offer?

What insurances do you accept?

We accept all major insurances like Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, Optum, VA and many others. Please contact our office for more details.

Will TRT shut down my natural production?

Exogenous testosterone can suppress LH/FSH signaling. We discuss fertility goals and may use adjuncts when clinically appropriate.

What are the options in TRT treatment?

TRT treatment options may include injections, creams/gels, or pellets – tailored to your body, preferences, and long-term safety.

What is Spravato?

Spravato is a prescription nasal spray approved by the FDA for adults with TRD and MDD with acute suicidal ideation or behavior. Unlike traditional antidepressants, Spravato works by blocking the NMDA receptor, which affects glutamate—a key neurotransmitter involved in mood regulation. This unique mechanism allows for rapid improvement in symptoms, often within hours to days.

How does Spravato Work?

Spravato is administered in a certified healthcare setting under the direct observation of a healthcare provider. Patients must be monitored for at least 2 hours after administration to manage potential risks such as sedation and dissociation. Our practice is fully certified to provide Spravato.

How often do you take Spravato?

Spravato is typically administered 2 times per week in the first 1-4 weeks of treatment, once weekly between 5-8 weeks of treatment and once every 1-2 weeks during the maintenance phase thereafter.

Who are the best candidates for Spravato?

You are a good candidate for Spravato if you haven’t responded to at least 2 antidepressant treatments.

Are there restrictions after treatment?

Yes. For the rest of the day, you are advised not to drive or operate any machinery. You need to arrange a ride back home after the session.

The initial phase consists of 6 sessions over 2–3 weeks and the maintenance phase continues to weeks/months as needed.

Ketamine therapy is usually not covered by the insurance.

What are the side effects?

Can doctors prescribe medication via telehealth?

Yes, non-controlled medications are commonly prescribed via telehealth.

Is TMS invasive?

TMS is non-invasive and does not include surgery or anesthesia.

How does TMS work?

During the TMS treatment a device is placed against your scalp and it sends targeted magnetic pulses to the prefrontal cortex. These pulses help activate the underactive brain cells linked to depression.

Can you drive after the treatment?

Yes. Unlike some other treatments, you can drive yourself and also return to work immediately.
